LED circuit

Before proceeding on wiring my sd qant for led project,i need to determine the type of correct circuit in order to light up the led properly before i install them into the model. And the tool are shown as needed for the project ......

A wire stripper,to strip the plastic cover of the wire

A battery holder and two AA battery

Some wire, better purchase more just in case not enough

And led, both are green colour, just different milimeter, left one is 5mm which is bigger and right one is 3mm.

So just like this, cut few string of wire just long enough in for testing the led. Since we are testing the led circuit,it is better to use tape rather than solder it together .

Attach properly by identify the legs of the led, positive leg is longer and negative leg is shorter. If the circuit is correct then u will have your led lighting up .

The first led was pretty easy, but my objective is to install two led for my sd qant,so i need to figure out the correct way the current flow around the circuit. As u can see in this picture, the led didn't light up because led circuit cannot be wired like this ,as i thought led current cannot flow parallel by wiring like this to each other.

Then,i went to another way around, that is to wired the both led with their own wire, only then i attach them to the positive and negative side of the battery holder by taping them to the red and black wire. And at last, with the correct circuit the led light up just right. With each led having a 3.3 volt, two led will be having 6.6 volt together .Since my double AA battery add together is just under 3 volt, for 1.5 volt each, meaning it wont burn the led because the led have higher voltage than the battery.

Final conclusion is that two AA battery is just the right job for maximum 3 led i think,if 4 led is added ,then the two AA battery is not for the job simply of the voltage is to low to power all led with the correct amount of voltage, thus will make the led didn't light up equally bright.Above 3 led, please consider using higher voltage and the used of resistor to get the maximum amount of voltage in order all led to be light up evenly.
